Publishing a Framer Site Without Checking the Boring Stuff
The small pre-publish checks that save you from broken links, missing metadata, draft pages, and embarrassing mobile bugs.
The mistake: publishing as soon as the design looks good
The boring checks are the ones visitors notice first when they are wrong. A beautiful site can still feel unfinished if the metadata is missing, links are broken, form states are unclear, or the phone layout has one section overflowing sideways.
Publishing should have a small repeatable checklist. It does not need to be complicated, but it should happen every time.
Do it properly
Check the page title and description, test every navigation item, open the main call-to-action links, scan tablet and phone, and make sure draft pages are not linked from public pages. For forms, test the empty, pending, success, and error states if they exist.
The final pass
Read the site like a visitor, not a designer. Start at the home page, follow the main path, and look for anything that interrupts trust. Most launch problems are small, but small problems are exactly what a checklist catches.
